Today at Tech we started chiselling Miss Kirkpatrick started chiselling my wood for me after we Finished chiselling we had to try to connect it with our joint. if we needed help we had to write our names on the board. When I finished chiselling I drew a heart on my design.

Camp Photo Story

Today I made a photo story about camp we had to get photos with our activity groups and by ourself.

The Balloon Popped

The balloon popped!

We stood up and excitedly walked over to bows that were lying on the cobblestones silently waiting for us. We all picked the bows up at the same time. It was like we were in a race to see who would fire first.  

With the arrows notched onto the bowstring we placed our fingers around the knot. One finger above the knot and two fingers below. Like everyone else we lifted our bows and pulled the string towards our faces. You could hear the ting on the string as the arrow launched itself towards the target.

“Pop!” We couldn't believe our eyes. Both balloons popped at the same time we felt so proud when everybody clapped and cheered.    

Both of us had smiles on our faces as we picked up our arrows. Lucky only we know not all our arrows hit the target.

Today me and Dallas wrote a recount about our favourite 5 minutes of camp. Read my recount to see why archery was our favourite.

Why have people in Auckland are asked to conserve water?

People in Auckland have been asked to conserve water because the water supply in Auckland was put under pressure after all the heavy rain. By sharing this DLO Christopher, Jericho and I are using our learning from Inquiry to help other people understand why it is important to listen carefully to the messages from Watercare and think about ways they can save water.

Today at Tech we were doing wood work we had to finish out perfect drawing and show it our teacher Mr Grundy we use bench hook athe saw to cut out a 120 degree or what number it says on your's. I went and got out the saw and start to cut it mine.it was a little bit crooked and the rest straight.
