Author's Purpose
I think it’s about Ma'afu practicing throwing his big long spear.

I think it’s about the boys going into the beach and when they got in there was a w
terwhole. Then the boys went inside.A shark was trying to eat them.

A shark was trying to eat them.
Ma´afu made excuses to his sons then the boys started him for a target practice.

Villagers wanted to punish them so they were sent to the waterhole to bring some water for the whole village but Ma áfu didn't want to send his boys to go but they went and fought with the giant duck and they won. They took to water and the duck home but villages were very angry.

Ma’afu tried hard to change the villagers minds. The two brothers still saw their father so unhappy, but the two brother’s didn’t want to leave him alone. Ma’afu hugged his sons proudly and then the boys took their duck and fish and went to live in the sky.
